Ellen has more than 30 years of experience on a variety of residential, academic, and civic projects.  A registered architect with a strong commitment to sustainable design, she has a deep understanding of what makes housing attractive, comfortable, and most importantly a desirable place to live.  She enjoys working on all types of residential projects from single-family houses through to multi-family mixed-use complexes.

When not at Embarc, you can often find Ellen participating in AIA events, both Women in Design and Residential Design Committee at BSA as well as on the Executive Committee for the AIA’s Custom Residential Architects Network (CRAN).
