Originally from Portland, Oregon, Etan is a young designer with a passion for sustainable, passive systems and a desire to deeply understand the material realities of construction. He has previously worked on affordable multi-family housing projects where he developed an interest in zoning and the role it plays in shaping the form of cities.

Etan has a master's degree in architecture from Northeastern University. At his time there, he studied abroad in Segovia, Spain as well as developed an interest in Northeast tree species and building retrofits.

Outside of work, he enjoys playing tennis and basketball, cooking, playing the guitar, and landscaping.
