Jay is joining Embarc as a new Interior Design Assistant. Jay completed his studies at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Architecture and Design. Before joining Embarc, Jay worked closely with their school’s Interior Architecture program as a Teaching Assistant to help their program flourish. In addition to helping students learn various programs like Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp, Jay helped facilitate more opportunities for students’ education by organizing and planning events like lunch and learns with outside professionals. As well as running workshops/newsletters to provide students with additional information on what’s happening not only in the classroom, but in the industry as well. 

In addition to their work at university, Jay has interned at an Architecture firm near their hometown, where they gained experience in designing commercial and multi-family buildings. In his designs Jay aims to create harmony with the outdoors and surrounding community around the space, allowing for positive interactions for every user that interacts within it. Jay is excited to take what they’ve learned from their internships and college and bring new ideas to Embarc. 

Outside of the office, Jay enjoys hiking and being outdoors.
